I snagged a couple nice pieces of Cocobolo a couple years back that are more figured than normal for Cocobolo.
Not seen in these photos but there are areas on the spine with actual curl! Pretty cool stuff.
W1 clay processed blade, take-down assembly.
Headed for Michigan.

Nice!!! Cocobolo some of the nicest looking "plain" as in non-burl wood out there IMO.

thats one great piece of wood ! years ago i used a lot of cocobolo, but now all i seem to find is the orangeish or yellowish colors. that red stuff is hard to come by. great knife as usual.
