Ok so I bought my first Large Sebenza 21 a few weeks ago (with black Galbon inlays), I was planning to make my next purchase be the Cocobolo inlay Seb 21 to go with it. I am about ready to make a purchase but just saw a large star benza for sale its slightly used (small scuff on the clip) but $50.00 cheaper. I really like the star-benza too and the auction is up in a few hours. I know the Star-benza's is harder to come by, should I pull the trigger on it or proceed with my original plan and get the Cocobolo inlay Seb?

I just cant decide please help talk me into making the right choice for my second CRK. if I am going to do the Star-Benza I don't have much time before the auction is up.

I have a starbenza and I really like it. I prefer the tumbled blade finish as opposed to the polished blade finish of the inlay models. The grooves in the handle of the starbenza give it a grippier feel without the added width of the inlays.

I am all about inlays..........but buy the starbenza now, and come back to the cocobolo.
#1. You already have an inlay version #2 You will be able to find a cocobolo when you are ready and star benzas are a little harder to find #3 you can keep the star benza for a bit and sell it to fund the cocobolo at a later date if it's not your thing

Here is what I do know for sure: if you are torn between the two, you will eventually end up with both.

after thinking about it, I can find the wooden inlay knife much easier than I can find a large Starbenza. I will pick up the Cocobolo knife down the road. the time is now to get the star-benza. I pulled the trigger on it : )

it wasn't one of you guys selling it was it?

The Starbenza is a great knife, so is the Star-Tac if you ever decide to go with an Umnumzaan.
Congratulations!

Star benza all the way! I love the inlay knives but I think everyone should have one of the WC versions.
