Here's one I made for the hammer in in KS, but didn't stick around that long.

Very nice!!!!! Cocobolo is one of the few woods that can look that good even with relatively straight grain.

I thought about going but didn’t want to make the 8 hour round trip...

Nice one Tad. I don't think we get the full effect of the blade shape because of the shadow side. If you have one, can you post another picture of the blade from a different angle that shows off the profile a little better?
 
I can certainly understand why it didn't hang around long. Cocobolo is one one my favorite handle material.
