As part of the research that ended up with me choosing the BK2, I came across threads showing marathonman's custom scales and I absolutely fell in love with the photos of the cocobolo ones he made. Had to have them, there was not going to be any arguing, so I ordered them up not long after ordering the knife itself. Thar she blows!
In the kydex sheath I picked up from Chestnut Ridge along with the knife (wasn't hot about the nylon strap on the stock sheath).

Sheathless in Sheattle (Phoenix, but whatever)

And for fun, a shot of the blanks that marathonman sent me, basically to torture me while I waited!

I'm just absolutely ecstatic with these scales. They are so nice to the touch and look amazing. I was originally planning on stripping the knife and putting a patina on it, but these look so great with the black that now I think I'm going to take Flexxx's advice from this thread and put some abuse on the factory finish for a while to see what's what.
Thankfully, I've got dirt time scheduled for four out of the next five weekends. Can't wait to put this thing through it's paces.
Get me out of this city. Can. Not. Wait.
