Codger or someone else -help identify Schrade Heritage Stamped knife

I picked up a brown handled 4" stockman at a Knoxville guns show, The shield says shrade 1983. The blade has Ever Lasting Sharp and stamped Scrade Heritage. The other side of the blade had 8801 and the handles appeard to be brown smooth bone. It is also stamped Scrade plus. It is mint. the guy asked 60.00 but I got it for 40.00. How did I do? Can anyone give me some info on the knife.

MSRP was about $42 when they were new. Box, papers and perfect unblemished condition all contribute to more collector interest. I don't generally do values, but I don't think you overpaid.

Heritage Series = Great Knives. especially the Whittler (8041). if ever you see one, get it ! roland

The 83-84 bone series and a delrin series done in 97
