I've had two of the thermos mate cup thermoses, that he about two to three cups. The first one fell off the back of my truck at work and a friend picked it up for me. Dented etc but still useable. Chucked it like an idiot. 2nd same brand/type of cup. Got filled with glass dust during my accident last year. Got a plastic coffee cup over this past winter and misplaced it. I want something well made, durable and preferably made in USA. I drink maybe two cups of coffee per day tops. I use flavored creamer or Splenda so I need something that can handle daily washing(not all can). Any suggestions?

Made in the USA? Good luck. Nissan is made in Japan, and they are good.

I just recently tossed my old Stanley/Aladdin (from the old USA made days). It no longer kept hot things hot or cold things cold. Sad to toss it, as it traveled quite a bit and all over with me for a long time.

I'm still using this 20 year old Nissan daily. A supply sergeant gave it to me as my old Stanley embarrassed him. When the time comes I'll likely replace it with another Nissan. I'd love another Stanley but just will not buy ANYTHING from China if at all possible.

I also used to have the old green Stanley. While looking to replace it I came across this on sale and bought it. That was at least 8 years ago. Mine still looks fairly new and does a great job. I doubt they are made in America. But they are quality built.

Anyhow they have a good selection of products. Look under beverage bottles and mugs & tumblers in their catalog.

never buy contingo cause if forget to clean it everyday and let it sit for a few days, gunk begins to develop in the mouthpiece and will never come out. i then bought 40oz thermos and kept my drinks hot till even when i got home. i soon realized that 40oz is wayyyyy too much coffee and ended up wasting it. i ultimately purchased the smaller 24oz version and never looked back. good for 2-3 cups and keeps your coffee hot all day. best thermos to date
