have any of you guys ordered coffee online? that grocery store stuff is kind of wimpy. any ideas? thanks. paul

Until my roaster died I always bought green and roasted my own, right now I am getting mine from K.Dees Coffee in Lafayette, In. It is were I stop for coffee everytime I am in town there which is a couple times a week. Great coffee and they do have an online store for beans. http://www.kdeescoffee.com I am fond of the Kalossi Knockout beans and the Venezuelan Vendetta, both very bold roasts. I also use their Electric Chair Espresso, it is a seven bean blend that is very well balanced. Till you get an order in tho you might try Stewart's Red Eye, it is available in grocery stores.

I use a Senseo single brew coffee maker and order my coffee from Amazon. Free shipping and low prices.

Horned Toad,
I found something that looked interesting at West Coast Roasting Company and placed an order.

I take my coffee seriously (have to. Coffee and scotch are about my last vices. Gotta get as much mileage as I can out of them.)

Some friends at work and I use www.coffeebeandirect.com

They sell in 5-lb bags. If you (or a group of you) buy a total of 25 lbs you get free shipping. They have a goodly selection of varietals, plus blends, plus decaffeinated (by several methods) . Some of their coffees come in several roasts.

I am currently using their Sumatra Gayoland Organic Fair Trade at $6.50/lb.
I'm also a big fan of their Kenya AA at $6.03/lb

It's the best place I found on the net to get good coffee at a reasonable price. Takes about a week for shipping from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Good Boogie!

I tried get online coffee, but there's no USB port on the machine, and my wife wouldn't let me plumb a water line to the desk.

So, I still have to go to the kitchen and brew it myself.
