This is my first post here although I do visit this subforum often. I thought you all might enjoy this one. I've been working on some mixed modern/traditional designs, this is the first of them I've completed. I will be doing a fancied up version of this knife in the near future, as a gift to my fiancé. It will be very similar, but possibly in Damascus, and with a jeweled ferrule.

5.25" edge length, CTS-XHP .160" thick, as-ground finish
Hand cut sterling silver inlays, sterling silver pins, 416ss guard
Desert Ironwood burl scales
Black G10 Frame and Ferrule
8.2oz, 10.3" OAL

Thanks for looking. :)

Its a cool hunter. I would be interested in seeing how your work progresses and this model especially. Is that frame and can you do a tapered version? Or the same knife with exposed tapered tang?

Thanks!

This one is frame construction. I've had some interest in a slightly less fancied up "user" version of this knife, I was thinking a tapered full tang could work quite nicely. This pattern was originally drawn with a single line from the back corner of the handle to the clip, the small thumb ramp or double guard was a last minute addition that I'm happy with on this particular knife, but may need changed depending on how I go about construction.

Thank you both, appreciate it.

I am going to do a basic wip on the sheath for this one. I'll post a photo of the knife w/sheath here later. The customer chose black leather with brown stitching, I'm thinking the pair should look quite nice when done.
