I think you're going to have one heck of an impressive table at the show. Looking doubtful that I will be able to make it, but I'm still clinging to hope.

Keep up the great work.

The Coffin Handle Bowie is SWEET-Two Thumbs Up.I didn't realize you were so young Kyle-Keep Up the Great Work.

What's up with the stag? ;) :D :D :)

Just kidding, as I know you very rarely use it.

Both beautiful, but crazy about the hunter.

You are really coming along with your handles.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the complements everyone!

Kevin,
I haven't used any stag since before I wet to the ABS school last year, but that is about to change. Next time I am able to hand select stag, I'm going to get a boat load of it.

Very nice work.......BRAT!!! lol..j/k ;) Good call on stag...NEVER buy it sight unseen. Even if a website has pics of it from the side and end, there is no way to tell how sraight it is or if it has any incovenient twists. I am surprised that none of the regular denizens in here have chatised you for using nickel silver.:eek:I have toally switched over to 416SS at the suggestion of a number of folks on the forums and will never go back. It is a lot easier to machine and actually seems to polish up better and more easily than NS. Plus, it doesn't have that slightly yellow tint to it.

Considering your limited use of stag, you sure chose a dandy piece and your transition to guard seems very well executed.

There's only one change I would have made and that is to possibly round the edges of the butt end just a little if I could be so bold to say.

Kyle,

These look to be the nicest handle/blade combinations you've shown on these posts.

You're an accomplished maker, looking forward to great things.

I'm loving that hunter, it's very sleek, and has great proportions, plus the components looks great together:thumbup:

That's a great looking hunter! I love that amber stag. Nice work!:thumbup:

While both look great, that hunter is really something. Best of luck to you at Chicago!

Super clean work, Kyle. The bowie is nice, but I really love the hunter. Your handle design and proportions look great. I like seeing you incorporate some stag. Hope to see these in person.
