This is a custom order for a fellow forum member. He liked the dagger that's on my avatar but wanted ivory and all damascus fittings. Well here are the results. 11 1/8" ladder pattern blade, OAL 16". The shaped guard is ladder pattern. The grooved spacers are a twist pattern as well as the frame. I made the frame from a piece of 1" wide twist that I cut down the middle and used the inside of the bar to make the outside of the frame, forging to shape. The liners are coined German Silver. The pre-ban Elephant ivory is held together with Sterling Silver domed pins. I'll be taking this one to the San Antonio show for delivery and a real photograph by Point Seven. I'm sure he'll be able to show the chatoyance in the blade and frame. Hope you like it.

AWESOME Mike! I like that VERY much. That fuller looks great as do the damascus, and details on the liners and spacer.

now that is serious custom knife making!

Let me add my well done to the others. Someone is going to be very happy when they get to San Antonio. +1 on the tight fuller. A very nice touch to a great knife. What did you use to grind it?

Dam Mike that is off the hook. You make it look easy but I know better there is nothing easy about this knife I will try to keep the drool off of it when I get my greasy hands prints all over it.

Mike, as you well know this is one of my all time favourite knives from you, can't wait to get mine now that I have seen this one ;) Everything about it is top notch Sheer class!!

Thanks for all the kind words.

Gary I used a carbide ball end mill to cut it in and steel rod welded to handles to finish it out with sandpaper.
