I wanted to do something simple and aggressively profiled so here's a coffin handle fighter I'm just finishing.
Just needs sharpening & leather.


Specs:

OAL is 10" with a 5 1/8" blade of 5/32" 1095.
Flat ground and lightly etched for temper line.
Guard is soldered 416 ss and the handle is stabilized Koa.

Looking good there, David! Looks really quick in the hand and that Koa just sets it off. NICE!
 
Thanks Mike. Like I mentioned to you on the phone, your uber-aggressive blade profiles inspired me.
 
I really appreciate that man, and it looks to me like you nailed it! My knives changed pretty much overnight after I spent an entire day digging through pics of Jason Knight's knives. Something about those long, scary clips got stuck in my head and just never left. To this day, when I think "aggressive", my mind just bombards me with images of his work. SO MUCH inspiration at our fingertips just here on this site that it's staggering...keep up the great work my friend!

Ohh, Im sorry to hear that. A great dog. I noticed that pic in your gallery and thought he was around the shop keeping an eye out. I missed that he wasnt around any more.

Hope you will get another dog at some point, if you havent already.
