Anyone know if there is a production company making the coffin jack pattern other than the Bose/Case collaboration?

I really like that pattern, and I guess if I had to I could try to find a custom maker to replicate that.

I want to get an inexpensive one first to see if the size/shape works for me.

I really like the pattern as well, I am interested in the responses of this thread.

Current US or German manufactures can't think of a one......though in 1999 Winchester/
Queen built did produce one that can still be found on thE Big auction site...also 3 1/2" length

You might want to look for cokebottle jacks, very similar pattern, just rounded instead of faceted on the rear bolster. Case made the 6225 cokebottle jack until recently - sweet pattern, but only 3" closed. Also called a fiddleback or occasionally beavertail pattern (GEC has totally ruined the beavertail term though - it just means it has a beaver shield for their knives).

I had one of the 1987 Winchester coffin jacks, and the quality was as good as my chestnut bone cv case/Bose Swayback jack (which is a hell of a compliment).

Kabar made one in the 1980's in a few different handle materials. Stag and a dark wood.
