Some years back I seen in one of the knife mags about a maker selling custom knife boxes that were made to the specs and the looks of a real coffin, and I believe it was in NorthEast Ohio somewhere, but my mind doesn't recall where.

Anyone know?

TIA! :)

Hello Mark,
I'm sure that John Yeackly of "Classic Wood Designs, Inc" out in Colorado Springs, CO., could build the type of glass topped, coffin shaped, display case you are looking for. He does many of the display stands and show cases for my custom knives, and his craftmanship is incredible. You can see some of his work on my Web-site at, www.sunrisecustomknives.com . Good luck in your search.

I was given this site from someone a little while ago:

http://www.burnknives1.com/Rogerspage.html

This is very close to what I am looking for, not the maker I was thinking of, but more on the lines of the styles.

I'll have to keep both these in mind if I don't come up with that Ohio maker I am looking for. The maker I was looking for actually used the same materials as in the real deals.

Thanks again, Jay! :)

I just saw an ad in an old issue of Blade:

Knife Cases By Finnigan.
926 Cherokee Tr.
Willoughby, OH.
44094.
Tel: 1-216-975-0805.

It was in a 10 year old Blade, so this might be your man. The ad showed a Coffin display, with handles, and the whole nine yard's:).

HTH:D:).

That's the one!
Thanks so much for the info, I am surely going to try him next week sometime!
Much appreciated! :)

Just checked out Knife Cases by Finnigan and the phone number is a non working number now. I checked also with the phone company and there is no listing anymore.

Oh well, I'm sure that was the one I was looking for, but no longer there now.

THANKS AGAIN!
