Anyone else seen this? Maybe it's old news. I just noticed today.

Hey Brian...

Yaa thats old news...

They've been selling those for ever....
I've seen them for save in camping and outdoor stores all over the place...

Good knives for their price..
Don't own any though...

Looks slightly different than the opinel, different handle and blade markings.

It does look a bit different. No crowned hand or Opinel markings.

It's weird, selling a cheap copy of an Opinel just doesn't make sense. Maybe it's a model they make for Coghlan's.

These are great little knives (I've had one for years). They are made by Opinel and marked as such on the handle.

I own a coghlan pruning saw its great.I believe they're made in Canada.

Coghlans has been reselling inexpensive outdoor/camping gear in Canada for as long as I can remember. You see their stuff in just about every outdoor store. Most of what they make (resell usually) is on the cheap side, but they do have some hard to find useful items.

Nothing wrong with that! It is sort of the Canadian version of Herters. I really miss Herters! :(

They sell Coghlan's stuff at Sports Authority and Walmart? That packaging seems so familiar. Like Mag cakes and fire startes, something.
