Hey all,
I recently watched The Edge w/ Anthony Hopkins and Alec (I believe) Baldwin again. There is a bit in the movie about giving someone a coin when he has given you a knife so as not to "sever" the friendship. I had heard of this before somewhere. Seems I also read something about exchanging a piece of steel for a gift of a knife. Anyone know where this tradition originates?
Thanks
