Does anyone know where i can find a type of machined metal tube with some kind of screw off cap that can fit a roll of coins or more? a spot for a lanyard and/or split ring would make this damn near perfect.

I have one of those "pill fobs" that can fit about 2 bucks worth of dimes, but i'm looking for something much longer. If i can find something about 4 inches long, that's thick enough to hold at least dimes, i can think of a million uses for it.

(carry extra matches for out in the bush, my nightly pills so i don't forget 'em while travelling, loaded with coins it would make a nice fistload, attach a lanyard and it becomes a slungshot, if i can find a longer one it can be used as a Kubotan/Yawara, holds bus money, reason to carry the tons of change i end up with at the end of the week etc etc)

I've seen metal match tubes, but they're still too short...

Plumbing isle of the hardware store. Lotsa choices; steel, galvinized, brass, copper, pvc, maybe stainless. . .

Not sure about the lanyard, though.

Be careful; don't make it look like a pipebomb. We don't want any airports unnecessarily evacuated. And it's really annoying to have to explain to the AAA guy that the bomb squad detonated your car keys.

antique stores have them sometimes. I have ones that fit dimes pennys and nickles, courtesy of my departed grandfather. :)

all 3 are plenty neat imho, but item #2 is $147, its not THAT cool lol. #1 was not too terribly high though i suppose,
