Hallo.
Every boy from my generation here in Poland grew up on books and movies about Wild West. No wonder then, that when boys become big guys, they want to make their child-dreams come true. Once upon a time my good friend asked me to create an extraoridinary bowie knife. The blade was appointed to Bialorussian mastersmith Alexandr Bialy, known of his excellent complex damast blades, while the handle and the sheath was comissioned to me. After good few monts I receved the, indeed master quality, blade and I worked hard to create a self-consistent, both: practical and beautiful knife. How the collaboration worked out - see for your self. Enjoy!

length - 409 mm [16.102"]
blade - 254 mm [10.000"]
thickness near guard - 5.5 mm [0.216"]
guard - 416 SS
handle - Desert Ironwood
sheath - leather

Dang that's a Sweet bowie, very nice and your photo skills are great as well.

Marcin.....

And to the man who wrote in the forums that you never wanted to make another bowie......wow...this is fantastic

A beautiful bowie in my opinion.
Just as clean well executed as your smaller knives.
Is the sheath made of the same ironwood as the handle? ;)
Just kidding of course, however you almost make it look as it is.

Very nicely done indeed. I particularly like the kickback of the guard.

I will also add that the guard/handle looks extremely pleasing to the hand.

Kevin, I like that aspect of the knife so much, it just flows so nicely with the whole set up so I ordered one of Marcin earlier today unfortunatly he cannot make me one in damascus so we agreed on D2

The curves on that Bowie are "very" sleak .... one of the nicest I have seen for "overall shape" aesthetics .... I agree with all the comments made above .... a very beautiful knife.

I also echo the good comments above. Its just a lovely bowie and incredibly nice sheath. Congrats!

Thank you very much, Friends.

I was new and inexperienced craftsman, when I spoke/wrote that.
I also spoke I will never work with Ironwood :D

Howl, howl, howl,
bark, bark, bark
hau, hau, hau
(I don't know, what "speak" dogs in english... :) )

:D :D :D
