I was digging thru a box after a recent move and found a knife I thought I'd lost. I'd bought it in '92 and to be honest, kind of forgot about it.
It's a Luigi Colani Design knife. Very sharp and very ah... ergonomic.

Anyone ever seen one before? Anyone have an idea as to value?

Thanks,
C

Yes, I have!.. They can be very valuable. This guy is not your typical custom knife builder. He is a world class German designer. Everything from Cars to Cameras to Cutlery.. I don't know what condition your knife is in because the pictures show little detail. However, there are folks out there who collect anything with his name on it...

I have provided a link to one of them for you below, and incidentally there is photograph of what appears to be your knife about 3/4 down the page on the right:

"Sakai No.1 utility knife Japan 1986" Huh... what-do-you-know. Thanks for the link sunnyd.

I bought it at a gun shop in Phoenix... I think I may have paid $70 for it with a sheath and box... both long gone now. I've been using it to cut fruit and veggies lately... works great.

Thanks again,
C
