Would like to find a Colclesser axe, hatchet or tomahawk. Apparently these were made in Eldorado, PA, circa 1890-1925, I do not know the actual dates. Kephart suggests an 8 oz. tomahawk of their make and Col. Townsend Whelen, who was editor of American Rifleman in the 1920s, also liked them. I own a couple of Whelen's rifles so would like to get, or at any rate see a photo of, the axe he used.
