I'll be posting some tommorrow, as I was busy today with reviewing Warcraft Tanto, I might test it out tommorrow as well :D

And compare it to Recon Tanto.
I am looking forward with bated breath!

C'mon, folks, Cold Steel are meant to be users. Show your Cold Steel pride! Let's see some pics!

Well, I used my 4-Max Scout to make some feather sticks to toss into the fireplace this morning, but I'm unable to post pictures.

Yeah, you need to get the photos online and copy a link that is shareable on these forums. I use Postimage.org, you don't need an account there to upload photos (i do have one, though). After you upload, just copy and paste the image into your post here. Lots of other services you can use, too.

Thanks. I may do that. (Well, if I find one that doesn't give away my rights and ownership...)

Awesome! I've been thinking about a Bushman, but my true flight thrower can make a makeshift spear, too.
Bushman is pretty cool for the money , but not too much call for a spear for most people . ;)

Mostly just a toy for me . Sometime walk my trails with it to clear the high stuff . Works fairly well as a machete on a stick .

You could belt carry and use as a field knife , but I got others that are lots better for that ,IMO . I just leave it on the pole as a dedicated spear / machete .

It throws and sticks surprisingly easy . Compared to knives , that is .

You can copy and paste images into your post. Nice chopping with the Recon Tanto, BTW.

Thanks :D

It's my work horse knife for ever since I got it. I started with construction site, and ended up mainly using it to chop stuff on my yard, I take it to forrest too.

Interestingly enough, after all that use there was still almost zero damage to the coating until I started with harder chopping. I never batoned with it, and I don't even plan to. But it seems that wood is more abrasive to coating than plastic, rubber or other man made materials. I even used this thing on the food in the past. And I still oil it with coconut oil so it's food safe :D

Yeah, the new coatings seem to be better. My true flight thrower from 10 years ago literally rubbed off its coating the first time I batonned it.

I don't know about old coatings, but these ones seem to be very durable.

I still wonder what would batoning do though...
