Cold Steel AK-47 Tri-Ad lock

Thats one thing I've always admired about Cold Steel, they are never afraid to put their knives through a beating to show the world what they are made of.. That Tri-Ad Lock is a force to be reckoned with... Awesome vid..

Love the Tri-Ad lock but not the AK-47. The huge handle with the extended metal piece and the high-carry pocket clip...no thanks! The American Lawman is my favorite followed by the Spartan. Both carry well.

That video is amazing. I love it when people are willing to demonstrate the abilities of their products.

I want one!!! I'm trying to support the local shop in town by waiting for their order to come in, but I'm very tempted to just find these online now :D

Yep. Once again impressive as you can ever expect to see in any folding knife. Those were some of the most abusive and violent spine whacks I think I've ever seen done to any folder! Certainly far and above what most would ever do to their knife in any situation even if it was hard use spanning many years. Seriously, I can't see how anyone can downplay a lock introduced in this industry that can take that kind of abuse. When I look at the Triad lock objectively what I see is a lock design that is quite simply one of the most solid and complete lock designs to come along in my lifetime, and by that I mean one incorporating as close to equal balance of strength and reliability as one could hope to find. With a performance like that its hard to not be impressed even if you don't like the company or the knife.

Cold Steel raised the bar, ... Spyderco: Let's get it ON!

The old AK47 is still a good knife, the improvements do seem good and substantial.

Here is a re-ground Spart.
