Just rec. this via FedEx this a.m. Picked it up off ebay for $65 plus shipping. Wanted to get a look at one and see what it was all about. Well I got it and typical CS sharpness. Blade shape is a wide bellied drop point 3.5" in length with what I think is about the strongest type of lock back folder I have had my hands on. Actually the knife isn't that big as to what I thought it would be. Handle to blade ratio is excellant. Opens kind of hard but maybe that will loosen somewhat over time. I tried to take it apart to lube it but can't figure a way passed the pins(friction fit it seems) the liners and g10 grips are fastened with. Has torx screws in the back of the handle and the pins front. Its got a great sound when opening the knife and it locks up. It is a nice loud chunk sound. If you like that its cool. Forgot to mention the choil cut out which I think is a great idea. Works great to choke down on the knife for precise cuts etc.

The thing is though the back spacer/spring and the liners are not flush fit. This could be design to keep debris out maybe? I mean you look down through the back or up through the bottom and seems to be a good bit of light on either side of the back spring. The knife is solid on lock up though so no worries. I mean really solid on lock up. It seems to be fairly heavy too. Good and solid feel to it. Other than this and seemingly good cutability it is as I thought it would be. A good buy at internet dealer prices but no way would I pay retail. keepem sharp

Thanks Longbow, for the review.:D I was looking all day on the net, to see if there were any reviews, none till yours.
I am tempted to purchase one,but up here there $85.00 so I just want to make sure I'm getting my moneys worth. Yes we can purchase from the US, but take a chance of a Customs agent classifying it as gravity fed.

Well I don't see how the Customs would denote this a gravity knife as it is a lock back and there is no way on God's green earth you would be able to snap this open with your writst. Not even by taking the pivot pin out. Trust me I know! Hey I picked mine up for 60 bucks plus shipping. I think it is worth it at that price but no way would I pay more than that. Starting to smooth out a bit and the grip ergo's I must say the more I handle it the better the grip ergo's seems. keepem sharp

Count me as one of those folks...whats your opnion of me?

Well I don't personally know you, and those few words you typed are the only thing I can judge you by. So what's your opinion about Cold Steel and do you freak out and go crazy when you see their videos, and why? I would have you send me a PM but this entire forum considers the Private Messaging a privilege and wants people to pay.

I don't want to hijack this man's thread or anything:)
