I picked up a couple of stockmans a couple weeks ago from that auction site. One is a Cold Steel Classic Junior Stockman #54MS, with Carbon V steel and jigged black delrin handles. The other is a Moore Maker 3300 in carbon steel and smooth yellow delrin handles. Both 3 1/4" closed. Both were made by Camillus. In fact, the gentleman I purchased them from worked for Camillus for many years and purchased these knives in number at the auction when Camillus closed their doors.
Excuse the mediocre pictures.
Moore Maker
As you can see, there's more than a coincidental similarity between the Cold Steel and the Camillus made Buck 303. I think the clip blades were made from the same tooling, as apart from the swedge on the Buck, they look identical.
However, the spay and sheepsfoot blades, while of similar shape, are quite a bit thicker on the CS.
In fact, the Cold Steel is quite the lardbutt when it comes to thickness. (Buck left, CS right)
Compared to a Case 6344 (exactly same length), the Cold Steel is downright fat.
It's as thick as my 3-spring Buck 301. This makes for a small, but still very substantial knife. Beefy, yet still very pocketable.
If you check the auction sites, you can sometimes find these up for grabs. Usually under $40 and compared to the Cases at that price, these are much better made knives. It's too bad they're not made anymore.
