Cold Steel Black Talon

Has Anyone seen this new CS knife. I don't mean to be malicious in this post but this thing sure reminds me of an a certain self defense only knife we all know and love to some extent. Is this a team effort by CS and Spyderco? I like the blade style, but from what I hear the steel is preety bad. Is there any other news on this piece?

I haven't heard much about it for a long time. I thought maybe it got pulled because somebody (whose initials might be SG) had a quiet word with somebody else (whose initials might be LT).

I think Torz is right. It doesn't seem to part of the Cold Steel lineup anymore.

The word is that Cold Steel worked out an arrangement with Spyderco regarding the design and then Cold Steel discontinued the model due to problems with the manufacturing process. Some guy named Sal said something like that.
