Hi there, I was wondering if you guys can tell me about the discontinued Cold Steel Bush Ranger? My brother long ago was into knives and just recently he said while moving out (finally) he came upon a newly Cold Steel Bush ranger, I'm much younger than him and never heard about that knife. What is it worth? Worth taking it from him? Is there any collectors that are willing to buy a knife like this? Thanks.

If the blade is black and says Carbon V on the blade, it's worth around $100, otherwise, maybe $50. The difference is in the quality of the steel the blade is made from.

It is a good knife, I like the handle swell. You will be able to get rid of a carbonV one pretty easy. Consider keeping it, good woods blade and steel made out of the USA camillus plant before shipping manufacturing offshore.

They also made them in Japanese Aus-8A too. I am not sure how much either version would be worth though.

They have been discontinued for a few years now, I am uncertain to exactly how long it has been now.
