I am thinning out some old Cold Steel Stock I have. This Trailmaster was personally owned by the president of Cold Steel Lynn Thompson and traded for guns at Ashmans's Pioneer Market Gun Store in Fillmore Utah some time around fall 2006-2007. Mr. Ashman told me when I bought it from him that Lynn Shows up to hunt up there periodically in Utah and brings sacks of old Carbon V Stock to trade for guns at his store and others in the area. It has been in my safe since buying it from him years ago. To make things more interesting Mr. Ashman was recently featured with a Gatlin Gun for sale on Pawn Stars. http://www.pioneermarketguns.com/. The Knife is the USA Made Carbon V Version made in the Early 90's. These are incredible choppers. I have a user just like this one that has taken an insane amount of abuse as a Camp Knife. The knife is stamped "2" on the back of the kraton grips as a way to get them out of Cold Steel's inventory for trading I guess because I see no grind line or cosmetic flaws on this piece whatsoever. Razor Sharp, Has never cut a thing. The snap is a little stubborn on the sheath but that could be adjusted by the new owner without much effort. I am selling a twin to this one and a really nice used SRK with 2 sheaths next if you want to PM me about those. I am asking $165 (What I paid) plus 4% for Paypal Fees. No Gift Option please!
