I have an old carbonV cold steel tanto. Kinda ugly & I had the idea to strip the black finish off, mirror polish & rehandle.

However, I lack the skills & equipment to do this.

Anyone here know of a place??

I'm pretty sure stripping is not that hard just look around.
How is that helpful to him at all?

Try asking the knife makers forum, lots of very talented guys there.

Will do. Took a closer look & It is a Oyabun, not the tanto. Any info on this thing ?

I'm not very familiar with those types of knives to be honest. But I am certain that someone here can make either an awesome wrap or handle scales for you. Do you have a photo of your knife you could post?

Not yet, Got it handled however. I was sending an RD-6 out for some work & Justin G. will take care of this as well. I think It should come out pretty cool. It's basically a 9" piece of Carbon V Tanto profile w/ a really crappy handle. He's going to do a mirror polish & fit micarta scales.
