Cold Steel-Carbon V Trailmaster value?

I about bought a Cold Steel - Carbon V Trailmaster (made in USA + but discontinued).

They wanted $225.00 for the Carbon V Trailmaster. Whats a ballpark price on one???


Do you have any idea if that was a good deal or not???

Saw one NIB go on ebay for $100.00 They command whatever a collector wants to pay for them, but thats on the higher side.

It depends on the condition and if it's real or not.

If it's real then yes it's in the ballpark as it's a very sought after item.

Make darn sure it's real though as there are a lot of fakes out there.

As a side note, the current SK-5 MARTEMP IMO is just as good or maybe even better than the Carbon V models, I have owned them all.

For that money and if I really had my heart set on a Trail Master, I think I would just jump up to San Mai, unless it's to keep the Carbon V as a collector.
