This is my Cold Steel wish list for 2025:

1) A Range Boss with G10 scales and an upgraded steel. I have the standard one and its a great knife but I can't get used to plastic scales. I wish they'd bring back the Broken Skull or do an upgraded version of the Boss.
2) A smaller Mayhem. I love this design but its too big! How about a smaller version that we can carry with ease?
3) A spearpoint Recon 1 in Magnacut. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

What you all want?

I'm hoping for a more budget priced recon 1 lite, in aus 8 or 10 steel . prefer they keep it made in Taiwan and with the g10 scales and tri-ad lock, but I'd be okay with some sort of plastic type scales and steel liners if it meant much better price.

Recon 1 in S35VN Stone Washed (not Black Washed)
Bush Ranger with a blade half an inch longer. Then the handle would be a little longer and fit my hand even better. The handle should not be any thicker.
Voyager with blade made of S35VN handle made of G-10. But the current Voyager must remain in production.

I agree, Cold Steel should bring back some the legacy-models in their XL footprint: Bush Ranger, and AK-47 immediately come-to-mind.
The green AD-10 variant looks interesting, I may snap one up. If the price drops on the Elite for Xmas I may grab one too.

Seems reasonable to me!

I wish Cold Steel would make an XL version of the Tuff Lite. I have the regular one and it's really good. I think a warncliff blade about 5 1/2"-6" would be great. I know it's similar to the current Frenzy, but the handle is different.

Bring back the SRK with the indestructible tip.

Make the SRK-C with previously said indestructible tip instead of the wafer thin thing it currently is.

Make the SR1 Lite in AUS10A instead of 8cr.

Make the American Lawman hollow grind again.

Never change the 4Max Scout, it's perfect.

If any CS knife ever deserved an upgrade, it is the Tuff Lite. Same exact knife in G10 and S35V, so easy. A larger version might be nice as well, but that would require some level of expert re-design that GSM might not have right now.

My wish is for them to get someone that actually knows something, and have them be the mod here.
There's you,The Whip, Mike Wallace and a few others that are as knowledgeable as anybody out there regarding Cold Steel's history and product line. So I think that we are doing just fine in that regard. However an actual company rep could answer questions on manufacturing and upcoming products and designs. The Stickman was here for a minute, maybe he can fill that role.

Oh yeah, bring back the original Broken Skull made in Taiwan in S35VN, AUS-8, or AUS-10.
Amen to that! This is such a classic design, it should be a standard issue... I don't actually have a problem with 4034 on the Range Boss, it seems to do fine but I just can't get used to the scales.

Doubt stickman, or that other guy that showed up during the jimislash chopper drama, will ever post again, let alone be a regular presence. We're not FaceGram so apparently we don't rate🤷‍♂️.

Aside from the obvious benefit of someone that can answer questions, etc, BF rules require manufacturers with a sub-forum to provide a moderator. We have been without one for quite a while, and I fear at some point Spark will close this sub and move it to the Archive.

Hopefully things won't go that far. I think the Cold Steel forum has been doing just fine as is despite the rules requiring a moderator. We don't need no stinking moderator, we can moderate ourselves as is evidenced by the courteousness and civility of exchanges that take place here daily!

Boru and other site mods are making sure things don't getting out of line in here. so we have good mods already and I'm good with how they're doing it...

would be nice if cold steel didn't abandon their fans here and poked in to answer question's or post upcoming things etc.
