Cold Steel coating removal, keeping logo

Anyone know how I can keep the logo highly visible even after stripping the coating? I removed the coating from a Cold Steel a long time ago but the logo was barely visible, what can I do to make it more visible?

Can I use something like vinegar on the logo and make it impregnate the steel more or something?
