I just figured I'd post some pics of the Code 4 with another knife that that most folks may have. Great knife. Solid as f**k.

I have both of these knives, and really like them.Code 4 is just little slippery and Para2 has short blade,but that's just my opinion.Code 4 cuts much better with thinner grind.

I've not had the time to use it much. I did have the same steel in a Spyderco Chaparral and it was great. Held an edge longer than VG-10 but seemed very similar to S30V to me. I don't know enough about steel to say though really.
