Cold Steel Counter Point II

I'm thinking of getting a Cold Steel Counter Point II. One qualm I have is the ease of releasing the Demko lock. Since I have use of only one hand, I prefer a lock that isn't too stiff. My Spyderco Native cf, for example, is just fine. The Mini Lawman, however, was too stiff and I sold it. Where would the Counter Point II fit on this scale? And if on the stiff side, is there any way to easily loosen the lock? Oiling?

I have both Counter Point models, and they are among the easier Triad locks to release. However, my experience is that the stiffness of the lock depends more on the particular knife than on the model. For example, my first Recon1 tanto was impossibly stiff but got better after leaving it open overnight at a 90 degree angle (the standard treatment for tight Triads I think). My current one is average and didn't need the 90 degree treatment at all.

All the Triad locks I have owned have been a bit stiff to disengage. That's OK to me because while I may be in a hurry to get it open I am never in a hurry to close one (one handed may be difficult though). On the plus side the Counter Point 1 I had was the easiest opening Triad I had. You could actually flick it open. I haven't handled multiples of the same, so it could be as Gadfly suggested (dependent on the individual knife).

I have them all except for the XL. They are definately not a one hand knife to close.
