Cold Steel Desperado

Hi, folks!

This is my first poston this board, so please cut me some slack if I've started this thread in the wrong place.

I'm due to depart for an gun friendly place soon (I usually carry one or two .45's on me, a 1911 or a Kahr P45).

I have considered getting a Cold Steel Desperado to accompany me. I've got small hands and love my other Cold Steel knife (a Safe Keeper push knife).

I know you can slash with a Desperado. And how!

Can you stab or thrust with one?

Anyone with any experience/training to stab or thrust?

Hey, that's a pretty topical thread. Maybe the mods will merge us.

Still would like to know about anyone's experiences stabbling/thrusting with a Desperado.

Maybe I should get one of the DVD's....
