Not to mention packing a 7.5" blade in a lot of places would be illegal for carry. Heck, even in Texas (with certain, limited exceptions) and I'm pretty sure in several other countries.
Now if you want a long traditional that will carry better than you would expect. Try a Granddaddy Barlow. Not that's easy to carry, big and traditional. Or grab one of the big Opinels.
