Hi everyone! :)

I bought the Cold Steel Nightshade Skean Dhu the other day, it's on the way by mail! :D

I just wan't to ask, is the Nightshade series any good? Is the Material Grivory sturdy? What kind of jobs is it good for?
It wasn't very expensive, since there was a sale going on, on the site i bought it from. I've seen some reviews of the nightshade series on youtube, and it looks to be an OK knife :)

I'm waiting and hoping for it to be a good knife. It dosn't have to be a RAZOR sharp knife. I only use the point of my knives, exept for my Paraframe.

Does it have a good point? Jeeezz i could keep questioning all day xD.

Uhh... it won't really cut but it will most likely be able to pierce relatively well.

FWIW, I've seen examples of people dropping them and managing to break of the tip.

Does anyone else have one, or just a knife from the Nightshade series?

Hey!

I'm just a curious newbie in the knife business, I ordered a FGX Jungle Dart of the Nightshade series, on it's way I think.

Sorry that I can't help you in any way with your question, but could you please post a small review of the knife after you've tested it? :)

I have the FGX push dagger and its pretty solid. I dont really have a use for it, but its still a cool thing to have.

the only synthetic model that holds up is the delta dart,
but it's not a knife; and performs the exact same function as the cruciform model.

I also have the FGX push dagger. It's a neat little thing, but I broke the very tip off by stabbing through a pop can. I bought it to test the idea of carrying and using a push dagger, and it works well for that. However, I wouldn't trust it to do any cutting tasks or self defense, which is what their catalogue implies.
