Only thing I dislike on this knife is scandi grind.I reground few of my Mora and Helle knives to full convex grind (they perform so much better for any task)and am planning to do the same with this knife.Any input welcome!

I am not a folder fan at all, I think from a functional perspective a folder is useless. You buy a scandi grind blade that is meant to be used for woodwork, carving, shaving etc. so usually a task for a longer period of time. Putting this on a uncomfortable folder handle is a paradox in my world.

Anyway, why do you buy a scandi if you want a convex? A Fallkniven PXL or PC would be a better choice, they come in a convex. Or do you really just want to use your grinder/sharpening stones more intensively - that's fine too :D

Am not familiar with it, but some of the reviews claim it has a hollow grind and not a true scandi - is also a bit thinner than most scandi. I'd try it as is and only mod if needed.

This is the first I've heard of it, looks like a nice overall pattern.

I believe that over in the CS forum they have confirmed that while some of the early examples had a kind of hollow grind all the new ones have and will continue to have a scandi grind.
I'll be buying one because i love scandi grind. Wish they had located the thumbstud further back though. The thumbstud on the Finn Wolf might impede cutting, oh well at least its removable. The Brisa scandi folder managed to have a thumbstud and located it further back on the blade. But the Brisa is almost 3 times as expensive as the Finn Wolf, i want the Brisa but for now i'll settle for the more affordable CS.

Will that fix some of the reviews I've read where the edge rolls pretty easily?

Hasn't gotten in the way cutting yet, but I haven't done much with it. I can tell you for sure its going to get in the way on the sharpening stone. It will have to be removed for certain to get the base of the blade on the stone at the correct angle.

It appears its intended is to act as a backup to your primary knife. Assuming it tests out ok I plan to keep it in my pack in case something were happen to my Mora. I would never head into the woods intentionally with a folding knife as my primary.
