Anyone have one? Opinions on this knife?

I am a big fan of scandis, especially Moras, but any Pukko style knife really does it for me.

I am not much into folders, I carry one in the city, usually a Victorinox but I do have a couple of locking folders I carry as well. Looks like it might make a decent knife to lug around when a Mora around my neck is not practical.

I can't find any in stock, so I don't even know for sure if CS will be making up a batch of these anytime soon, there website lists it as backordered.

Discuss please.

Looking closer, it appears this model is on the new for 2015 list. Probably means nobody has one yet. Still interested in everybody's opinion on it. As it stands now I plan on picking one up as soon as I find one.

Also any guesses as to when it will hit the shelves?

Some dealers seem to have them, but you have to search by the model number 20npf. I'm planning on picking one up, but I figure I'll let them filter out a bit more as prices seem a bit high right now.

I actually was able to pick one up from Sportsman's Warehouse last week. It's a very, very nice knife. Nothing fancy, but it locks up like a fixed blade and has a very functional grind to it. It cuts like a demon, and is extremely easy to maintain at ridiculous sharpness levels. It is zero ground, but I do recommend putting a microbevel on it. I didn't, at first, and messed up the edge. Fortunately, the AUS 8 is very easy to realign the edge. This knife is an extremely good buy.

3.4 ounces, with a tri-ad lock, and a street price somewhere around 30 bucks...! Not bad at all.

Any pics? I've only seen their digital renderings online so far.

I will be picking one up for sure. Looks like a nice little knife.

And the scandi grind in AUS8 should make it stupid easy to keep sharp while still giving very strong geometry with a lot of steel behind the edge. One of the reasons I have little hesitation in picking one up is that it should make a great gift for those just catching the disease or who simply need a decent knife but don't share the passion. I suspect it will be hard to beat as a beginner folder, if you will.

I will pick one up for sure.
I posted a thread in cold steel forum days ago and not a single post, so I am glad to find this.

I bought one but for more than 30 bucks. All around decent little knife with good ergo's to it. Modifiers of knives will have a field day with this one offering up different scale combo's. Dark green G10 would have been the way to go on this I think. The one I have seems to have a very slight hollow grind too. Feels that way any how. Triad lock you can't go wrong with imho either. The handle to blade length is about perfect too. Just wish it wasn't Grivex. They should have used g10. keepem sharp

Sounds excellent guys, thanks for the Input. I will definitely be picking one up ASAP.

This will be my first Cold Steel blade. I am quite fond of their shovel, comes in handy when truck camping.

I would guess the "slight hollow grind" is the result of being finished on a belt and not really an intended design feature?
