There is a bit of trivia that is driving me nuts. Rember the CS folders (old ones) with kraton handles? They came in large and small sizes, clip points and tantos. What was the Japanese name for the tanto?
I appreciate any help, as this is something my mind wont let go of.

EDIT: Yep I was right. Had to look up the old pic. I had one until a few months ago when I sold it. I bought this one pictured here new.

A truly great user knife. The handles were known as thermorun back in the day and were advertised as not being kraton. Bought mine back in 1990 at the old I&I Sports in Los Angeles and it is still as strong and beastly today as the day I got it. One of CS' better if not best folder IMHO.

Yeah, there was another one that opened and twisted, thus locking the blade. Designs have come a long way since the '80s.
