Cold Steel has a new knife called the "G.I. Tanto" on their company website. It's MSRP is a very reasonable $30.00, but I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what the country of manufacture for this knife is. I own a Cold Steel Voyager that was made in Japan and a Cold Steel Recon 1 that was made in Taiwan. I could not find where the G.I. Tanto knives are made on the company website. I would appreciate any information or opinions about this knife.

Everything you ever wanted to know about that knife and even more stuff you never cared to know.:D

Whoa, Daddy! Rip off another manufacturer's design, undercut the price and then call him a rip-off? If thats not giving him the bone handle coming and going.

I know a very popular POS in 1911 parts manufacturing like that. He would get caught cheating by his g/f, blame it on me and get me in trouble with my g/f then to cover his @ss tell everyone that I rolled over on him. Pathological cons.

I still can't wait to get my GI Tanto :D. .

MMmmmm. GI Tanto! My favorite sharpened pry bar! And it comes back from the grave! What a knife!
