Good for the garden?

Well I don't think it's going to replace the lawnmower.

I prefer their Smatchet machete.

I would rather use my Echo weed wacker and Toro lawn mower.

Just in case any zombies get near my lawn I keep my Cold Steel bowie machete near by.

Give me a scythe any day. The CS is a tool known as a "grass whip", which is a very old, cheap, and low-skill tool, but it's also low effectiveness compared to other edged grass and weed clearing tools.

My wife "found" my Cold Steel Finn Bear and now uses it for her gardening-opening fertilizer, mulch, manure bags, etc.

I'll stick with my mower for the grass. That being said, if I ever need to cut through a meat-filled cowboy boot, I'll reach for a CS.
