Cold Steel GI Tanto

anyone have one yet, seems simple and stout. Cheap too. Hows the quality?. Cold Steel doesnt seem to want to tell you where there stuff is made.Made in usa.. i doubt it for the price

I have never heard anything bad about the Gi tanto. It's probably made in taiwan like a lot of other coldsteel knives.

Yeah it's made in taiwan. I have 2. One with the cord wrap handle and the other with the plastic scales. Mine have a sheath made from a thick cordura like material,serviceable but not fancy. From what I've seen they come with a plastic sheath now. The ones I have came very sharp and for 20-25 bucks they are hard to beat. Check around on youtube and you can see some real abuse heaped on them. I like mine and plan on getting another if for no other reason than to have what I consider a better sheath.
