I am going to purchase a Viking sword and a Moro Barong from CS, I love my new Scottish dirk. There knives hold up, I think a sword should hold up if I just put it on the wall. My question is, any news on CS making a claymore, one from the 11th century to the 13 th century, it has a v shaped hilt? It is a very common design, I bought a crapper at a gun show, the blade wiggles on it, so I've taken it off the wall. I think that it would be a great seller, but I wouldn't be the one taking the gamble on it! Also, I'm still looking for a Cold Steel Ozark Hunter. Any good reviews of the CS cheaper katanas? Can I use one of the tantos for camping etc? Also, I have a BUD K ninja katana, it's pretty goofy, it has knives in the hilt, a spear in the pommel and the blade is super sharp, but I tried to chop down a dead tree, and the blade bounced off. Wow, talk about buying a cheap POS.

I've not heard any plans for cold steel to make a claymore. Based on recent reports I've seen I have to say there Euro line is somewhat suspect in general although for hanging on the wall they should be fine. Also even a high quality sword really isn't intended for chopping down trees hence the ax....

I thought the BUD K would at least bite into the tree. Just glad it didn't bounce back and bite into ME!
