Has anyone ever experimented with Rit Dye? Any tips?
I have a 4MAX Scout coming in the mail shortly with tan scales.
I picked said color because it reminds me of the old American made 4MAX but also because I think it would be a great candidate maybe for a camo pattern or something.
I heard about many people doing this with the FRN scales on Spydercos and some of the results I've seen are nice.
If someone has tried this one or other dying methods and has some pics to show how it turned out it would be really great.

Ive seen people do g10 and micarta with Rit but FRN??
If FRN is more or less the same as Grivory then I guess it can be done. It sure seems like it at least.

I think racing red would turn out good on tan, maybe somewhat maroon or burgundy...Deadpool red lol.

This is the result with an AD 20.5 which was previously in tan. That is definitely Grivory. Definitely digging it.
