While handling my Trail Master the other day I thought how nice the pattern on the handle sides gave me such a locked on grip. My next thought went to a pair rubber grips by Hogue on an old 1911 I had years ago that didn't stay "sticky" when even the slightest amount of wet was introduced.
Hogue got into the knife game as they already had the handle materials laying around. CS already mills G10 and makes molded Kray-Ex handles. Why not get into 1911 grips? Getting into knives would be a harder start as far as dealing with a completely new material like steel. Getting into grip making would be easier as you already deal with the materials needed making it mostly about programming machinery. Would anyone else be interested in CS grip panels?
