Cold Steel hawks???

I've never had a tomahawk and so I'm seeking to educate myself. I saw a cold steel tomahawk on ebay and was wondering how they are for edge holding, durability and general utility? I realize the custom ones are most likely superior, but they are out of my range now.

I have used one, loaned it out to friends, and generally was very surprised at its performance. It has some major problems, such as the edge bevels didn't meet and the heat/handle attchament was sloppy, however the quality of the head was sound. Some details :

I have had a CS Trail Hawk for over a year now. It has been put through the paces both as a home hatchet and a hunting/camping axe. I have been very satisfied with its performance. The only complaint I have is that the head likes to come loose from the handle. This never happened until I started throwing it though. As a long distance hiker/hunter the lightweight Trail Hawk has been a great addition to my gear bag.
