If anyone has some hi-res pics of this knife I would very much like to see them. I found one but it is piss poor. There appears to be some sort of engraving on the left side of the blade, but I've got no idea what it is... Thanks

Thanks for the pic, if I remember right I initially found an offering on ebay back in the day for this knife. From what I remember it was a limited version of the trailmaster done for a movie.

Making me feel old, testing my memory eh? ;) :D

Danny Glover and Willem Dafoe carried trailmaster bowies in the movie The Flight of the Intruder (released 1991). Cold Steel decided to make the most of the product tie-in by producing a single run of serial numbered knives. Only 500 of these were produced. It is too bad that Cold Steel could not figure out a way to make the micarta handled version of the trailmaster a standard catalog item.

Another difference between the regular Trailmaster bowie and the Intruder bowie is that the Intruder bowie has a stainless steel blade. AUS8A, I believe. I wouldn't mind owning one of those.
