I had one but sold it because of the pocket clip. It's way too stiff and the rough material on the handle rips up your pants. Everything else was great though - very sharp, nice bowie style blade shape, very solid lock. If they fixed the damn checkering and the ridiculously stiff pocket clip I would love it.

nutnfancy has a great review on youtube that goes over how he fixed just that issue.

never owned the knife, but if you want one that video is definately worth checking out.

I saw that video. Too much work to fix a $50 knife. I'll just stick with Spyderco/Benchmade.

I've got an old school lg. Voyager from like 91 or 90 I bought from Jumbo Sports when they were open here. I also bought an XLG about a week later. Both still tight and both still razor sharp. Seen lots of pocket time on both as edc's. On the newer ones just bend the pocket out a bit with some pliers, I mean it ain't that hard. I did this with my Espada and it worked great. keepem sharp

Yeah, I carry a 5-inch, but also frequently carry a 4-inch. The clip is easily bent and the entire Voyager line is great. Never had any problem carrying the 4-inchers and find it's one of the most comfortable knives around for the money. I also very much like the Byrd Cara Cara (G10 or FRN) and they're a bit cheaper. The 4-inch Gunsite also is nice.

Most 3-inchers are just too petite, but once you get down to that size, there's little reason not to go with the Spyderco Native. I sure wish they were widely available in black, though.

 Please explain necessity of bending pocket with pliers. Does this mean your jeans are infrequently washed so that they are stiff?

I really like the Voyager line, hard to beat the (for any brand) performance & price point. Looking forward to a VG1 example and the 4 inch clip is looking really good right now. If i get it i'll be sure to follow up with my comments.

Interesting... I got the 3" Voyager Tanto precisely because the Delica clips have not held the knife in place lately. Voyager replaces my Delica of old. I like the grip, and the clip keeps the knife in position. My Byrds also sit well, but the Delicas come out. After I lost my last one in a taxi, I said 'enough.'

I carry the voyager clip point xl

6 inches of razor---I love voyagers--clips are stiff as hades--but I really dont wanna lose it

Infrequently washed jeans don't get stiff, they actually soften up and get extremely pliable from your body sweat and fluids. They can just take on a bit of a taint in summer anyways. keepem sharp

I carry a 5" CS Voyager daily. Very comphy. It is so lite I forget it is there. I had a gunsite like(no GS markings), the clip broke, gave it away.

The clip point Voyager is one of my favorite EDC knives because it is light, not overly thick, ground thin, and the blade is relatively easy to sharpen. The clip point is a good overall utility blade shape. I own 5 Cold Steel products 4 inch tanto pe, clip pe, gunsite ce, vaquero, and a 3 inch vaquero. They are really not bad knives for the money, and out of the 5 the clip point gets the most pocket time by far.

Yeah, in the past six months I picked up a clip point Medium Voyager, handy little knife.
