The Master Hunter is the flat-out best hunting knife when it comes to field dressing, skinning and butchering big game IMHO. I treasure mine in Carbon V -- takes a fantastic edge, easy to sharpen. 3V is a step up in terms of edge holding and corrosion resistance, but not so easy to touch up in the field unless you have a diamond hone (DMT Diafold works great).
