Anyone using a Cold Steel Master Hunter as a hunting knife? I just traded for one with AUS-8 steel. Any comments?
 
I used one last fall for small game hunting and although the blade was a tad large, the blade shape was great.The handle comfort level was high and it did not slip even when bloody. I like kraton as a handle material even though it will inevitably degrade over time. Mine is the Carbon V model and it certainly holds its edge well.
 
Until I discovered premium/custom knives, this was an all time favorite of mine. You have a knife that should serve you well in many tasks.

If you do a search on this site or knifeforums, you will find many threads that mention this knife favorably.
