Cold Steel Mini Pendleton sheath question

Was thinking of buying myself another small fixed blade and the Mini Pendleton (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQFzsgke3J0) looks like something I may be interested in. My question is can I remove those screws/bolts/whatever that secure the belt loop to the sheath so that I can have just the sheath and lace some paracord through the two sets of grommets for horizontal belt carry?
 
Yep I'll tell ya I have never meant a neck type knife I have liked, until the mini P. I don't wear it as a neck knife but it is superbly made and you can actually grab the handle and get a grip on it. The blade has a thin edge that is WICKED! keepem sharp
